Recorded live at The Sky Lounge, Luna City, 2557.
The Ape spins a melange of melodic house, new trance (along with a consistent sprinkling of old-school trance gems for the heads who know--shout out to Jerry May!), and progressive frequencies that ripple through Saturn’s rings and into the hearts of starlet martini girls across the solar system. Critics called it “a cosmic blend of beats and bubbles.” Admirals called it “classified.” The pin-ups just called it love.
BTW:
- For fun, keep an ear open for some Speak and Spell style Depeche Mode at track 17 (01:19:03) and some of the Black Celebration flavor at the end (03:41:22).
- For weirdness, Tracks 1, 10(50:34:00), 21(01:45:11), 29(02:27:13), and 41(03:21:54) are Ape exclusives that hopefully don't grate too coarsely on the human eardrum.
Did a decent amount of lite to heavy remixing throughout.
Play loud. Sip slow. Remember: in zero gravity, the only thing holding you down… is the groove.
Please enjoy this, and Best Wishes to all!! 🤘😁✌️🎶💕🙏

🍸 Sky Lounge — (Year 2557)
By the year 2557, humanity had solved all the great problems of civilization — unlimited clean energy, space colonization, and cocktail olives that refill themselves. But one mystery remained: who could get the pin-up girls of the future to dance until Saturnrise?
House Ape comes wandering along — a chill simian who may or may not be a leftover from the ancient Planet of the Apes timeline (the historians argue, but the bass drops shut them up). With a bubble helmet, a chrome turntable, and a grin just cheeky enough to melt the neon hearts of Venusian starlets, he became the undisputed master of lunar nightlife.
The Sky Lounge, perched high above Luna City with panoramic views of rockets zooming past and starscapes swirling in slow motion, became the hottest venue in the galaxy.
The recipe was simple:
- Curvaceous, metallic-dressed pin-up girls sipping martinis.
- A crowd of space admirals pretending they were “just there for the cocktails.”
- And an Ape dropping trance and progressive house so futuristic that even the robots short-circuited on the dance floor.
By dawn, the glass floor glowed with spilled martinis and the laughter of women who swore, “I never thought I’d fall for a DJ with that much chest hair.” But fall they did — because in 2557, when you wanted a night of cosmic glamour, you didn’t ask where. You asked: “Is that Ape playing the Lounge tonight?”
And if the answer was yes… you strapped on your bubble helmet and prayed your lipstick was martini-proof.
